Andrew G. Blodgett, is a resident of San Luis Obispo.   Mr. Blodgett is the Chief Executive Officer of A. G. Blodgett, Inc., an international business advisory firm located in San Luis Obispo. He is also the managing partner of Jespersen Ranch LLC, a real estate development company.

 

From 1994 to its sale in 2001, Mr. Blodgett was President of Waller Genetics, a company specializing in the development of new flower seed genetics and the production of seeds worldwide. Waller Genetics was headquartered in Santa Barbara County, located in the city of Guadalupe, California.

 

Prior to joining Waller Genetics in 1994, Mr. Blodgett lived and worked in England. He was employed by the David Colegrave Group, Ltd. This holding company had companies in England, France, Holland, Germany, Australia and the United States. Mr. Blodgett served as Group Development Executive responsible for international development as well as inter-company development. While in Europe, he also served on the Board of Directors of Goldsmith Seeds Europe BV., based in the Netherlands.

 

Mr. Blodgett’s community activities include assisting the local medical community with diabetes education for newly diagnosed children and their families.

Reese T. Davies, is a lifelong resident of San Luis Obispo, California. Davies joined Founders Community Bank early in 2008 as President & Chief Administrative Officer. He subsequently became a member of the Board of Directors for Founders Bancorp, and its principal subsidiary, Founders Community Bank. Davies brings over 40 years of financial institutional experience in a broad range of positions and functions, most recently as the President & Chief Operating Officer and as a Board Member of First Bank of San Luis Obispo, a leading community bank with over $300 million in assets at the time of its acquisition by a large California-based regional bank.

Davies is a graduate of San Luis Obispo Senior High School, class of 1960. He attended San Fernando State College (Cal-State Northridge) 1962-1965. Throughout his career, Davies has furthered his banking education through his attendance at Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.  He has also been an active member of the Western Independent Bankers Association, California Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association.

Over the years, Davies has been extremely active in community affairs through his service on various community boards and foundations. He currently serves as a trustee for the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking in Dallas, Texas, as Chairman of the Audit Committee for Transitions Mental Health Association in San Luis Obispo, as a Member of the Foundation Board of Directors for Cuesta College, as a member of Rotary de Tolosa San Luis Obispo, and on the Board of Directors with The Wellness Community for San Luis Obispo County.

His past affiliations include serving as a board member for the Western Independent Bankers Service Corporation, as a member of the Mission College Prep Capital Campaign, as a member on the San Luis Obispo Superior Court Advisory Team, as a Board Member of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, as a past member of the San Luis Obispo Lions Club, and as a member of the Los Osos CSA#9 advisory Board.  Davies was also the Public member of the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) for San Luis Obispo County, a past member of the Bay Osos Lions Club, and a past member of the Los Osos-Baywood Park Chamber of Commerce.

William A. Hares, is a resident of Santa Maria, California.  Mr. Hares is a retired commercial bank president and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for Community Bank of Santa Maria.

 

Mr. Hares is a long-term commercial banker on the Central Coast, serving at Bank of Santa Maria from 1978 until the bank’s sale to Mid-State Bank in 1998. Mr. Hares joined Bank of Santa Maria in 1978 as its Executive Vice President and was named President and Chief Executive Officer in 1981. Following the Mid-State Bank acquisition, Mr. Hares continued on as an Executive Vice President for Mid-State Bank of Arroyo Grande, California. Mr. Hares retired from active employment in July 1999. Subsequent to his retirement, he organized Community Bank of Santa Maria, a state non-member bank headquartered in Santa Maria.

 

Mr. Hares served as a director of American Security Bank of San Bernardino from 1977 to 1978, as a director and CEO of the Bank of Santa Maria from 1978 to 1998, as a director of Mid-State Bank from 1998 to 1999, as director and Chairman of Community Bank of Santa Maria since 2001, and as director of CommerceWest Bank, NA of Newport Beach, California from August 2001 to October 2003.

 

Mr. Hares is active within the Santa Maria community and with the California Bankers Association. He served on the Board of Directors of the Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce, the Santa Maria Valley Economic Development Project, the YMCA, the People’s Self Help Center, the University of California, Santa Barbara Economic Forecasting Project, and the California Bankers Association.

 

J. Todd Mirolla, is a resident of San Luis Obispo, California.  Mr. Mirolla is the Chair of the Business and Real Estate Transactions Group for Andre, Morris & Buttery, a professional law corporation, and is a shareholder in the firm. Andre, Morris & Buttery is a law firm located on the Central Coast of California, with offices in San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria. For over fifty years, the firm has provided both local and national representation to Fortune 500 companies, local businesses, and individuals.

 

Mr. Mirolla has more than 20 years of business transactions experience in a wide array of matters. He concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, business entity formation and operations, employment law, intellectual property law, financing transactions and real property transfers.

 

Mr. Mirolla is admitted to practice before the state and Federal courts in California, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of California and the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association. Mr. Mirolla serves as a member of the American Bar Association Section on Business Law.

 

Mr. Mirolla received both his B.A. (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and J.D. degrees from the University of Southern California. He is a former Adjunct Professor of Business Law at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Mr. Mirolla serves on the Board of Directors of the IHSS Public Authority of San Luis Obispo County, the Mission Memorial Foundation and the San Damiano Foundation.

 

Greg Morris,  is a resident of San Luis Obispo, California.  Mr. Morris is the President of Morris & Garritano Insurance in San Luis Obispo, an agency with deep roots in the community dating back to 1885.  Mr. Morris joined the firm in 1964.  He currently serves on the French Hospital Medical Center Community Board and is a member of the Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo.  He is a graduate of Santa Clara University.   

  

Prior to joining the Board of Directors of Founder Bancorp and Founders Community Bank, Morris served as a director of Mid-State Bancshares since its formation in 1998, and as a director of Mid-State Bank & Trust since 1987.  

 

Robert E. Olson, is a resident of San Luis Obispo, California. Mr. Olson has many years of experience in a variety of real estate and construction projects throughout San Luis Obispo County.  Mr. Olson now actively manages his portfolio of real estate and business interests.  His many real estate projects have covered the spectrum and included land development, residential and commercial construction transactions.   Mr. Olson was also the founder of an electrical contracting firm, Rob Olson Electric, Inc., which successfully operated in San Luis Obispo County for 30 years.

 

In addition to his business and real estate interests, Mr. Olson has also been active in community service.  He currently serves as a Director of the Caballeros de San Luis Obispo. Mr. Olson is a member of the Exchange Club of San Luis Obispo, the Rancheros Visitadores, and the San Luis Obispo Property Owners Association. In the past, he has been a Director of the Los Osos Lions Club and Campfire of the Central Coast. He has served as Captain of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Posse, as President of the San Luis Obispo Babe Ruth Baseball League and as a coach in the San Luis Obispo Youth Football and Baseball leagues.  

 

Mr. Olson received a degree in Fruit Science from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.

 

D. Michael Patrick, is a resident of San Luis Obispo, California. Mr. Patrick is Executive Vice President, co-founder and shareholder of Sunrise Mortgage and Investment Company. Sunrise Mortgage and Investment Company has offices in California, Arizona and New Mexico originating loans on income-producing properties. These loans are primarily sold to correspondent investors, such as insurance companies, pension funds and conduits.

 

Mr. Patrick began his career in 1977 with John Burnham and Company as a Field Representative in the San Diego Real Estate Finance Division. After college, Mr. Patrick was a Commercial Loan Officer for Western Mortgage Corporation in San Diego. Mr. Patrick moved to Phoenix in 1979 to work with Seafirst Corporation, Sutter Trust Division. He originated income property construction loans, standby loans, and mini-perm loans for Seafirst and placed long-term takeout loans with insurance companies and pension funds.

 

Mr. Patrick graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science, Real Estate Major, from the School of Business Administration. He obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Business from Cuesta College, San Luis Obispo.

 

Mr. Patrick is a Past President and member of the Board of the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum. He is a member of the Vocal Arts Ensemble of San Luis Obispo, a community choir that participates in a number of international competitions. Mr. Patrick is a member of First Presbyterian Church in San Luis Obispo, sings in the choir and teaches 5th and 6th grade Sunday school. Mr. Patrick is married to his wife D’Elaine and they have three children.

 

Richard H. Porter, is a resident of San Luis Obispo, California and is the owner of R.H. Porter Company, a real estate investment and development concern headquartered in San Luis Obispo.  Mr. Porter started his real estate company in 1978 and over the years has also provided real property management, investment and financial consulting and real estate appraisal services.

 

Prior to opening his firm, Mr. Porter was a Broker Associate with Grubb and Ellis Commercial Brokerage Company.  He has also been an Instructor of real estate finance at Santa Monica College and currently is a Lecturer at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo instructing classes in finance and real estate appraisal.

 

Mr. Porter received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Beta Gamma Sigma) with an emphasis in finance from the University of Colorado, his Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in real estate and finance from the University of Southern California, and the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO.

 

Mr. Porter is a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), a past President of the San Luis Obispo Chapter and also holds the designations of Senior Residential Appraiser (SRA) and Senior Real Property Appraiser (SRPA).  Mr. Porter is a member of the San Luis Obispo Chapter and the California and National Associations of Realtors.  He holds the professional licenses from the State of California of Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, General Building Contractor, Real Estate Broker and Community College Instructor.

 

Mr. Porter is a past President and current member of the San Luis Obispo Chapter of the National Exchange Club.  He is a former member of the Parking Committee of the Downtown Association of San Luis Obispo and he is a current member of the Un-Reinforced Masonry Building Committee of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce.

 

Fred Russell, is a resident of San Luis Obispo, California.  Mr. Russell, C.P.A., is a founding Partner of Russell, Mainini & Franklin, LLP, a public accountancy firm located in San Luis Obispo. Mr. Russell has been in the field of accounting for many years, beginning his career in Chicago in 1961 with Peat Marwick. Mr. Russell specializes in audit, review and compilation, business planning and tax preparation. He founded Russell, Mainini & Franklin in 1998, after operating a sole proprietorship in San Luis Obispo from 1982 to 1997.

 

Mr. Russell has been a participant and an advisor in the establishment and sale of owned businesses, including firms in the restaurant and hospitality industries.

 

Mr. Russell is past President and a member of the Special Olympics Committee of San Luis Obispo County. He is a financial advisor to the San Luis Obispo Community Foundation. He has been active in United Way and is a member of the fund-raising Auxiliary of the Children’s Leukemia Chapter of the City of Hope.

 

Mr. Russell was a director of Commerce Bank of San Luis Obispo from 1994 until its sale in 1997 to Valliwide Bank. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and a member of the California and American Institutes of CPAs.

 

Thomas J. Sherman, is a resident of San Luis Obispo, California.  He is the Chief Executive Officer of Founders Community Bank.  Mr. Sherman was instrumental in the organization, capitalization and opening of Founders Community Bank.  The Bank commenced operation on May 5, 2005 after raising $11 million in initial capital and has now grown to more than $80 million in total assets.  

  

Prior to his tenure at Founders Community Bank, Mr. Sherman served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Credit Officer of Coast National Bank in San Luis Obispo, and President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Coast Bancorp, the holding company of Coast National Bank.  Mr. Sherman was also Senior Vice President in charge of commercial lending with First Bank of San Luis Obispo.  

 

Mr. Sherman is a San Luis Obispo native with more than 30 years of banking experience. He is a graduate of San Luis Obispo Senior High School and California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. Mr. Sherman is also a graduate of the California Intermediate Banking School at the University of San Diego, a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Delaware, and a graduate of the California Bankers Association’s Leadership Program.

 

Mr. Sherman currently serves as a Board Member for the Women’s Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo, as Chairman of the Women’s Shelter Program Endowment Trust, as a board member of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, and as a member of the Exchange Club of San Luis Obispo, the Native Sons of the Golden West, and the Knights of Columbus.

 

Mr. Sherman formerly served as a member of the Finance Committee for the San Luis Obispo Golf and Country Club, and as a board member and Treasurer for several local non-profit organizations including the Gridiron Club at San Luis Obispo High School, the Friendship School Handicapped Adult Program, the Foundation for Community Design of San Luis Obispo County, the Steering Committee for the Children's Museum of San Luis Obispo Building Fund, and the San Luis Obispo Babe Ruth Baseball program.
